Improving Student Outcomes through Effective Partnerships

On May 9, 2007, NCTAF, MetLife Foundation, and Nashville Public Television (NPT) held a town hall meeting on, "Improving Student Outcomes through Effective Partnerships." The discussion addressed:

  • state and local partnerships that support teachers;
  • creating school cultures where great teaching and learning thrive; and
  • teacher training & ongoing professional development necessary to improve teaching quality and student learning.
